i have a gp deere and on the serial number plate the number is 21 can any body tell me anything about it

GP john deeres were actually C john deeres that were taken back because if the recall. dont quote me on this, but i think it is the recall of 1929. i might be wrong, but ur serial number sounds a little early for the recall though. interesting tractor though, have fun with it!

Most Gp's had 6 digit ser #'s. Orchard versions have 5. Yours may just be worn off. If 21 is the first two digits it's a late 29 or early 30.

If you don't know what the facts are---and by your post, it's evident you don't have the first clue as concerns Model C's and GP's, then why would you make a post like that?

If you post a picture of the serial tag that would help you out and then you should get some good answers! Hope this helps Chris
