can someone tell me exactly where it is stamped on the block,someone has been grinding on my block and i can still see some type of lettering but can not make out what it is.Is there some other kind of markings on top of block

Lettering is on the top rear center of the block were it bolts to the crankcase. Aren't the plugs angled too?

Have seen a few times before where the rules outlaw power blocks, so people grind off the famous letters. Then most do not know that it is one except for a few.

The sparkplugs are straight, what could the lettering be if its not a powerblock

Easy to tell, few ways are: no petcocks,also there is a raised ridge on outer portion of block where top outer head stud goes. Not hard to pick out

Is it possible to drill a G PB for petcocks, like an A? Are the plugs angled or straight like a stock block?

Depends where you want to put them....down on the bottom thru a head stud, yes. There is a spot on the side where there is no water passing thru, but hard to tell where. I do have a cut-apart PB here I'd have to look at or show you.

ihave one with holes in bottm works verey well with gear reduction starter a lot easier to start an less strain on bat
