Grain bin size

Its radius squared (in feet) x 3.1416 x length x.8 = bushels of shelled corn if the top is level. If you have a peak of grain on the top you figure out how much that is and add it to the first figure. That formula is radius squared X 1.0472 x height x .8 ....hope that helps..good luck
 
Here is how USDA would measure it.

Dia. X Dia. X .7854 X grain depth X .8

To measure the peak it would be Dia. X Dia. X .262 X highth of peak X .8

Them the would be some test weight and pack factor but that would usually not ad more than 1-2%
