Gulf Tractor????

I have located a tractor. On the front of it it reads GULF. I am assuming that is the company? Is it foreign made? Can't find any information ANYWHERE can anyone help me????

Well, everyone loves a mystery....but a little more desc might be helpful, like f"rinstance: old? newer? new? tires? tracks? size? eqpmt (ag/ind)? looks similar to a? gas/diesel? running/parked/upside down at bottom of canyon/in boneyard?...stuff like that.
It"s a little awkward, looking for something, when you have no real idea of what you"re looking for...(I do hope the "Gulf" isn"t painted on and the "Oil Co" weathered off) "Gulf" cast in radiator? attached nameplate/medallion?...questions, questions...

The GULF is cast into the top of the radiator in red. The tractor is yellow, old, sitting between two trees. It has Ag tires. It also has a wooden belt pulley. I'm pretty sure it was a 4 cylinder. It runs off of gas. Its not handy to go look at so I am trying to remember everything about it.

Don't be so hard!! Prolly just got the spelling wrong. Maybe it's a GOLF tractor. After all, it had a DRIVER, could be a LONG iron (straight 6), and perhaps it goes PUT, PUT or PUTTER. It might be coloured red or perhaps a GREEN colour. Sounds more like a John Deere two cylinder all the time.
Now, is it a FAIR WAY from this guy. Watch out for a HOLE in the block... Sorry running out of puns.... leave it for someone else to add a few.....

Slin, you might've found something unusual...by "cast into the radiator" I assume it's a cast iron radiator shell, which usually means old, as you say, and a wooden belt pulley I would assume also means old. D'you remember what the sides of the engine looked like: more or less smooth one-piece block (relatively modern), block with rounded areas on upper sides of block for cylinders (older) or maybe the upper part of the engine looking like two or three separate parts, bolted to the bottom part of the block? (old engines sometimes cast cylinders "in pairs"; a 4cyl would have two "pairs" (upper part of engine) a 6cyl would have three "pairs", and even older engines sometimes had individual separate cylinders). It's beginning to sound fascinating!
PS: Google shows a Gulf Tractor Company, a JD and Kubota dealer in Corpus Christi; where's this tractor located?(not precisely, just a rough area of a state).

I honestly can't remember exactly what the engine looks like. I will have to go look at it again. It is in Kansas.
I am wanting to say it had spoked wheels. Not one hundred percent sure though.

Curiouser and curiouser... Slin: when you have an opportunity to see it again, get a bunch of pix (you never know when someone'll decide to scrap something old). While I wouldn't be able to tell a Terex from a Farmall, most here could make very experienced guesses as to its mfr or parents/relatives if they could see it.
ALSO: will someone who has a copy of Wendels book-the one with the 900 or so names-advise if anything "Gulf" is listed?? This could be a prototype (or something someone stuck a "Gulf" radiator on from something else, although what little I have on Ind/Const/Stationary eqpmt doesn't list any "Gulf").
ALSO: Does anyone here have any family members or contacts who worked for Gulf Oil Co?? While it's certainly far fetched, it's possible the Oil Co might've had some eqpmt "badged" as an advertising gimmick.
