gvi steering

On our gvi steering universal at the gear box is worn out. Will the u joints from any other moline"s work? We have M5"s and UT"s that are donor tractors if one of those will interchange.

Is it the splines or the bearings on the cross that are worn out?

I don't have the parts book in front of me, but I am thinking that if your GVI has a rebuildable universal at the steering gear, it should use the 6n series cross like my ZB uses. Snap rings are inside the yokes.
