Had to laugh

You can blame your state for that not the insurance company. It’s in place to try and reduce lawsuits for minor injuries. I’m guessing it has some major draw backs. My state is an at-fault state.
Like I said, insurance companies take full advantage of it and use it as a cash cow.

Name a company that doesn’t take actions (legal) to improve the money coming in.
Take it up with your state.
Here are a few non profits that help with claims.

United Policyholders, the American Policyholder Association, and Consumer Watchdog.

Ya, I'm so important and influential, I can change the world. Screw it, I'm just running out the clock with as little stress and anxiety as I can.

I live in a no fault state. I haven't had a problem collecting from the at fault driver's insurance in an accident. One of my sons was T-boned at an intersection by a driver who ran a stop sign. I called my agent (Farm Bureau/NoDak Mutual) and he said to file a claim against the other driver's insurance (USAA). He said that if they gave me any hassle to call him and he'd get involved to get a payout. The pickup didn't have any major damage but the payout by the other driver's insurance was more than I paid for the pickup. Our laws also provide that we can sue the at fault driver for excess damage, bodily injury, pain and suffering etc.

We have had sf since before I was alive the 80 year old agent was grandpas. They covered us in a barn fire. They seem fine on the farm policies. However on auto policies I am progressive and am glad I am seperate.

We had an incident this summer that got really complicated dad was pulling a hay Tedder with my old 2555 tractor while I was out of state. The mailman hit him doing 60 on a gravel road doing a contract run. Middle of the day on a gravel road he had brand new smv signs on both my tractor and his Tedder. (Thank God for ROPS it’s why dad is still here the fender bracket on the left that his arm was on was sheered off) So it took a minute to figure out if the post office paid or if the insurance would. He had progressive. And for a couple weeks while I was gone the post office and progressive were sorting this out. This is the point that we got home from Washington state. Dad had attempted to deal with the insurance and was getting frustrated. However he isn’t the owner of the vehicle. I called wondering how this was all going to go. Within the week of me contacting them there was a check for the totaling of my tractor (I chose to keep it) and dad got about 3/4 of what the ridiculous Tedder was worth new (it being a used thing like that he’s still salty he didn’t get new but they can’t do that it’s not worth new it’s used)

All while the 80 year old sf rep is poo pooing (dads Tedder is under a policy from sf however was under my policy since my vehicle was the towed vehicle neither of which should pay but contacting him was appropriate) progressive “great you ain’t getting squat” well let me tell you my particular 2555 before the accident was no gem compared to the comps they found I am as happy as a person could be. Having mom in a cab while raking stalks and a second snow pusher with heat I think is going to ease his pain.

Progressive 100 percent. It’s tiny more expensive and I do not care I’m glad I’m not “bundled”
