Looking for a complete bar for a NH 259 side delivery rake. Posted this on the 12th but some how it got deleted. Thanks
 
Good luck, I just spent $415 on just the bar for a 258 New Holland. The guy I bought it from decided to cut the original ends off 3 of the bars and weld 256 New Holland ends on 1 side of the 3 bars. All because he claimed the bearings were $60 each for the 258 and the bearings for the 256 are 16. But in fact the bearings are only $14 each for the 258. Live and learn, but if I ever see the guy I bought it from again were gonna have words.
 
Would anyone know of a reasonably priced place to get tines and retainers for side delivery hayrakes. We have both a Massey Ferguson and a New Holland hayrake and the tines are the same on both. Seems like all the dealers want way too much money for these things.
 
Tines for a New Holland rake are $1.29 at Tractor Supply and some of the Tractor Supply's carry the retainer clips also. Otherwise there is always someone who has a lot of clips on ebay, think there's a lot of 25 on there right now. I know the Massey Ferguson tines are more than the New Holland tines at Tractor Supply.
