help identify old wagon

Due to some computer problems I haven"t been able to post pictures of this old wagon until now.
I would appreciate any help you can give me as I don"t want to just paint it red or green and then find out later that it should have been some other color.

I agree with Mr. Rabbit. Paint it any color you chose.
If you find out it might be a John Deere, paint it purple or any color except green. It will cause the JD purist to have a hissy fit. And if you are lucky you will be banned from attending any 2 cylinder expos.

I can rule out David Bradley; it doesn't look anything like the DB that we had.

Clear coat it and its good to go. No one can be offended because it is still in original condition.

Take the reach bolts out and look for paint between the two halves where bolted together and protected. Also break down a tire to see wheel color. Works sometimes.

I agree with rabbit. Choose any color you like and have fun with it. I painted a New Idea 629 running gear burgundy and built a burgundy and cream parade wagon on it. Burgundy is not the correct color for New Idea but who really cares. I like the burgundy and cream color.
