Help... Kohler K341

I have several (3) machines with Kohler K series engines.
None run for crap. I've tried multiple carbs. I've tried multiple coils. I've tried multiple condensers. I have replaced the points. They have good compression. I'm out of ideas. Strong spark.
Is there any replacement engine out there?
I don't need PTO power.
These are Cub Cadet and Snapper machines.
Lastly, WTF, seriously, no factory spec replacement engines?
How many of these were made, come on, make a suitable replacement.
A lot of people would want to go the other way - have a kit available to swap a good ol' K-series into a newer machine when the more modern engine bites the dust. Many, including myself, consider the K-series to be some of the best vintage small engines around. The six of them I have in various machines don't seem to give me much trouble.

Also, in addition to TRK's thoughts, make sure the dipstick is sealed properly to have a good pulse for the pump.

I suggest Kohler points. And clean them good with business card to remove the oxidation coating on new points.
I’ve had aftermarket points that come in overhaul kits and they didn’t even close ,something out of spec on their design ,put Kohler points in it and worked.
Had k242,k301 , run pretty good ,even the worn out one . So not much help with the issues.
