chevy rods wont work they have the rod cap directly on the end. i need something with the rod cap off set to one side. some where around 2 inches .

ih had a two inch rod 7 1/4 long with cap screws instead of bolts and nuts . its not offset though. allis d19s ran 2 inh 7 3/8 long there not offset and use rod bolts and nuts . lerio used offset rods 2.300 journal 7.500 long. and thats all i know about that to quote bubba .

you might also want to look at the (honda rod) for sbc or the 1 3/4 ih rod journal 7 1/4long there both under 2 inch but could be additional stroke with a offset grind.

I've looked at about every rod listed in the AERA connecting rod manual close to 2" and every one is straight cap or way too short. Cunningham's billet angle cap rods are a beautiful piece. Pricey, but if you go cheap on rods and one breaks and junks block/crank/piston/sleeve/cam you just paid for a set of billet rods but you still don't have them.

just helping a friend with a mh 44. nothing crazy! its going to be 4 3/8 bore with .125 over 454 domed pistons. running 1700 tp 1900 rpms. we wanted to off set grind the crank from a 2.5 journal to something smaller. I know that an H farmall has a 2 1/4 inch rod journal but would like to go a little smaller for just a touch more stroke. By the way i dont know how some of them guys get 7" plus stroke out of them. rod comes within less then a 1/4 inch from the cam stock. this is my first time in a 44. So i guess if ya'll have any suggestions let me know. Just remember this is my friend and he is on a limited budget, also its his first tractor of his own and he dont want to get to crazy.

A Coneneintal Rod out of a gas 135 Massey Ferguson should fit the bill 2.125 journal with an offset cap. Hope that will work for you.

ive got a set of the 123 ih 1 3/4 rod journals thats been bushed for .927 piston pin diameter i would let go. also have a nice set off the 153 rods with the cap screws havent opened up the pin diameter yet.

1st in the 5,000 and 3rd in the 5500. Track was the stickest one I have been on in a long time. I think I had 1,000lbs on the front in the 5500 and it still wasn't enough. Junked the front weightbracket. LOL>
