HELP!!!!

have a 2N and it is leaking hydraulic fluid at the lower link. I tried to take the bolt off thats holding that piece on but the whole thing just spins. How do you go about replacing these parts?

Try the site.

Have to remove the left rear wheel and axel trumpet. If it is the left link, reach inside the diffy houseing and tignten the castle nut. Gotta give all the torque you can. John,PA

As previously mentioned if it is the left side the axle trumpet has to be removed to gain access to the nut inside. The lift arm stud has a slight taper that pulls tight in its bore to prevent leakage. I had a problem with my TE-20 right side stud and access to it can be gained by draining the oil and removing the pto shaft. There was enough room to get a socket on the nut and break it loose so that another one could be put in. Also, when replacing put some silicone sealant around it on the inside to help seal the whole thing up good before tightening the nut. Its a messy job, but that is what owning an old tractor is all about.
