ok, so I removed the 4 bolts closest to the tractor rearend and the took the pump off, there is a pto shaft there, but it is a short one. Now for the newest problem, the pin/bolt that the lower three point arm mouts on under the rear end is broken off on one side and the other looks like it has a nut on it but just spins when I try to remove it, how do these come off, do I need to remove the axle trumpets? I hope not. Thanks,,Jim

Jim.......yes, the ONLY access to the castellated cotter keyed 3-point lower link pin is by removing the rear axle trumpet. We recommend removing the LEFT trumpet and you can reach thru yer diffy to tighten the right lower link pin. Torque lower link inside nut to 150ft/lbs then cotter key. ......Dell

The OEM PTO shaft is not very long.

Yep you have to pull the trumpets.

This is the easy way.

As long as the seals, hubs, and brakes are in good shape.

Dell, forgot to tell you that you have to swipe the trumpet gaskets with water to get them to fit.

I got lucky on mine the right side hitch pin was loose and only needed to be tightened up. I was able to do it without taking the trumpet off. Just reached in thru the PTO opening used a long screw driver to straighten the cotter pin and tightened her up. However if its broke you may have to take it apart.

Sure like 'em. Play'N now with the pictures that YOU showed some time ago with the voltage one gets in the brain from eat'N potatoes. I found that sweetpotatoes can really throw the sparks. Usually, though, while rubbing the balloons to stick on the ceilings.

Right now I am calibrating my FLUKE for the mV scale. Yip.,,, Kennebunk potatoes in the garden!
