Hitachi dx40m dozer

I have a hitachi dx40m dozer and am looking for any info on parts and manuals. any info would be great thanks Steve

It might be the same as a JD model. JD excavators are Hitachi's with JD engines and some Hitachi dozers are JD's. Maybe all of them. Dave

I think they are Furukawa.Very hard to get info on them.They get sold at auctions in Asia & exported.Compare & see if they have similar track gear to Mitsubishi dozers.They may have Mits engine too.
I just priced track gear for my Furukawa CT5Q ,thru Hitachi agents....about triple price of comparable supplier.Of course,I'll be sourcing thru better suppliers.

I just got done reseaching getting parts for my FD45p Furukawa Bulldozer. I've found that if you have a parts book you can go to your local JD construction equipment dealer and your no's will mostly work with the John Deere parts manual. I just bought steering clutches and will have them in 10 days.

Thanks for the info. There might be a light at the end of the tunnel if I can find a parts manual. I have searched the internet high and low to find any info, with no luck. The fact is I love this little dozer and want to keep it. Just want to find a way to get it repaired if needed. I Don"t want a 15000 dollar lawn weight. I will keep searching untill I find the manuals. and again thanks for any comments you have.
