holland transplanter help

I have just bought a holland mechanical transplanter with the serial #2101. Can anyone tell me what i need to check to make sure it is in good working order? just need it for garden planting cabbage tomatos exc.

make sure all parts are free and turn smooth and then ck water shut off many of them freeeze if not drained ---we have any parts you may need

try and get a operators manual down loaded if you can.

These machines had all kinds of options and planting spacing etc:

water delivery systems would give problems from time to time as they were not cleaned and stored properly

I have a small one row 3pt hitch mechnical brand which was very similar to a Holland brand, tank and planter are all together, works great for small fields and one row cultivation.

does your business have a web site to order from? I know i need the water control valve assembly or what ever it is called. mine has rusted thru, i think someone left water in it with some type of fertilizer in it, and it has left the walls of the cylinder pitted and thin.
