HOOD QUESTION

i have an m hood and it measures 38" and somthing i bought a what i thought was a good hood but it measure 40" and something what does this fit??

Alot depends on where the exhaust pipe hole is. If it is on the left, you have a SMTA hood. On right, it is a MD hood.

I didn't go out and measure my hoods so I hope I don't have to eat my words.

I suspect a SMDTA hood is longer than both of the above but I have nothing to measure.

i am looking for a hood for an m diesel. i would be interested in buying or trading a shorter gas m hood. please email, randy

I just checked my SMTA and MD hoods. They are 39
7/8".
