I have a706(310 German, turbo[took turbo from a 560D,282,adapted to 706 over 20 yrs age). 2 yrs ago I put a'new" used pumpon it.WOW lots more power, more than ever had before, pulls a gear faster at less throttle.10 lbs boost,900 to 1100 degree exaust temp. When load increases and/or throttle in creases, boost climbs to15+ and temp climbes-keeps climbing.I watch it REAL close, dont want a meltdown.Only blows BLACK smoke during'acceleration',rest of the time it is clear or grey. What is normal?Could this pump havecome from a 826,is it just ovre fueled? It came from Iowa(low alititude). We are at 5000+ ft ,at this altitude,a naturaly asperated 706 only puts out about 60horses,this one dynos at over 95 .would this be a timing issue,it starts fantastic, any temp it has 10500hrs.how can I cool itdown,or turn down the fuel?Do I need to?it is German bosch pump. Thanks,Steve

where your cable hooks on the pump for the fuel shut off, turn the front screw in a round to prevent it from going forward as far,and adjust from there.
