How Ja yall Think

Doesn't really matter. They (the media) is going to tell us what they want to right or wrong, fact or fiction. The key indicator to me is "what's in your wallet"? unpaid bills or disposable income> thats really the key indicator for me

Gross Domestic Product for the first quarter is also up, contrary to the contrarians, and much to their dismay. They're determined for us to have a recession (to seal the Dem's victory in November), but they just can't get the darned indicators to cooperate. It'll take more spin on their part, but I'm confident they're up to the task. Of course, with the downturn in external_link's fortunes lately (The Very Reverend Wright seems determined to throw him under the Mercedes), maybe a convenient recession won't help.

dddl has it right...it"s not what the figures say (figures depend on who"s compiling them and for what purpose, etc) but what people have left over after the basic bills are paid. And one persons recession can be anothers good times, depending on their individual circumstances.
