Here in Ortonville Mich. I got about 10 inches, heavy and wet too, I got the Simplicity snow thrower to throw it into the woods.

Here in the Hillsdale county area of southern Michigan "they" tell us we got 9.4 inches at the water treatment plant and the airport. It's blown around so much here at my place I don't know where I could measure it accurately. Sure will get sloppy if it gets as warm as they say it will next week.

Around Springfield, IL about 2", glad you kept the deep stuff up in Michigan.

Here in Versailles Missouri. Got about 1/2" to 3'4 but the wind is blowing they say. Up to 30 miles and hour. When I went out to feed the wood furnace. I moved quick.. burrr windchill factor the weatherwoman said.. about 14. Burrrr
The older I get the less cold I can take. lol

Yea, it is blowing here too, we were on the south of the 2-4", so we got less than you did, but 30-35 mph wind and -10 wind chill forcast, but 50 on Saturday. where are you, around Peoria area. I actually live about 5 miles nw of Williamsville, IL. Stay safe and warm with this wind and weather for a couple of days.

Cold as heck here in Indy and a few snow flurries
but nothing on the ground. So far we got lucky again. Most of it was just north of here

Spending New Years in Ft. Wayne, IN-- here they got 2-3". Back home in Branch County Michigan it's a different story. Looks like 8-10" & going to be a fun ride home today. Happy New Year to everyone.

Im out on the far west edge of peoria county and we dont appear to have much snow, maybe 3 or 4 inches, it is hard to say but it is 14 degrees and very windy. I caught a pic of one of the county snow plows in a bad spot just north of my house this morning, he is in the ditch accross from the house in the pic. The allready came and pulled him out.

Bout 45 miles south west of FT.Wayne Indiana,,,, 8 inches on the ground, and snow plow just went thru,,,, now the driveway has about 15 inches of snow to shovel out,, love them snow plows. Chad

Nothing like the doom and gloom end of the world crowd on channel 8 said we were gonna get. Looked like about a half inch to me here in Sheridan. But then I got out feeding and a bale that was standing on end in the feeder over nite had maybe 2 inches on it. Some day there's gonna be a real weather danger heading our way and the little red hens on the TV are gonna cause a lot of deaths cause people just aren't gonna believe 'em anymore.

Up here in Emmet cvounty we only got another 3/4" of lake effect snow. Not enough to get Big George out of the shed for.

Here in Brighton they tell us we got 12" but I don't know where they measured it. Closer to 15" standing upright on every flat surface I can see from the kitchen. Have to go fire up the loader tractor and clear the drive. I'll leave the road for some of those "workin" boys who are home today.

Yea, if you have never run a truck with a big one way funnel type snow blade, they are fun to use, and they will ditch you faster than you can react to it. Our problem right now is the blowing and drifting snow. I used to run a Cat wheel loader with chains and a 12foot one way blade for our road district, it weighted about 30K and the snow still pushed that around at times.

I got called out this morning at 6:00 AM..We had about 2 inches by time I got to my truck in Chardon Township, Geauga County Ohio..That plowed off nicely , then the lake effect kicked in and it's snowing at a pretty good clip ..The wind kicked up and is blowing the snow around so accumulation is spotty at best..Can't see my pole barn from my back window right now..I'll no doubt be called in again in the afternoon to plow again..I missed my grand daughters birthday and New Years dinner because of having to baby sit Chardon Township..The only upside to this is holiday overtime.. Best regards to all , Have a good New Year..

Here near Annapolis Maryland its sunny and about 54 degrees. I just finished painting the dash panel for my B.

What's all this snow stuff about??

Happy New Year!

Wayne
