My brother in law shot this really nice bobcat last week. It weighed 27.5 lbs and was over 2' tall. The fur is in great shape and doesn't have a blemish on it.

Funny bobcat story... relevant?
My buddy and I were riding our 4-wheelers in a state forest conservation area (read: gravel roads for miles & miles)... when, all of a sudden, a bobcat jumps out in front of us and runs just a few yards in front of us... We were running flat-out and catching this bobcat... when it finally dawns on me, what are we gonna do when we catch it? Must have occurred to my buddy at the exact same instant... Never saw two 4-wheelers come to a stop on gravel so fast in all my life... bobcat kept running and darted into the woods on the other side of the road... we just looked at each other a burst out laughing... good times...

Just a comment, Bobcats are supposedly really gaining in population over the entire Country. Got a picture of a big one in the trail cam this summer. They Are top Predators, make a nice hide.

Hides sell to fur buyers for about $65. About the only fur worth going after.
