Husqvarna Question

My 55 Rancher quit on me the other day. Pretty sure it is the ignition coil. Anyone know the cap to set the pick-up on the coil from the flywheel?
Thanks,
Matthew

Thanks Joe,
Looked around online a little after I posted this & seems about right for what I found also.
Lost spark in her on Sat., think it is the coil. Gonna borrow a coil out of my friends 55 & see if she fires.

MH-For what it's worth, I've just used a paper match stick flat wise to gap coil and flywheel in a pinch and has always worked fine. Also, if you have trouble finding a coil for your Husky 55 try partstree.com. I found a coil there that my Husky Dealer said was no longer available and that I should retire the saw! Well, for less than $50. my old Husky will now outlive me! Good luck!

Set the air gap at .010, about the thickness of a cheap business card. You might also replace spark plug, sparks plugs do not last like they used to and we replace, especially if it is Champion plug, they are not worth a crap in two cycle applications, especially. You could also have saw dust in carb screen in carb. coils in chain saws just do not break down like they used to, so I would check a few other things first.

if you bought it from a DEALER and not over the internet you coil is coverd under LIFETIME ignition warranty .....look in you owners manual.
