Hydraulic Issues

Greetings all, I'm new here. I have done a search and could not find my problem addressed. I have a refurbished 2020D. I'm building a new house so I have put lots of hours on it this summer. The engine runs like a champ and until recently so did the hydraulics. The front loader started to get jerky when you raise the bucket and the 3-point hitch got slower and slower. Now it will only raise when I am lowering the bucket. Funny thing is if I shut it down for a couple of minutes and then start it back up, the loader and 3-point work fine. As I continue to run, the loader starts to get jerky again and the 3-point quits raising unless I raise and then lower the bucket. I have changed the oil (NAPA 32) as the dealer recommended and cleaned the screen. It had some gunk on it but not too bad. This didn't solve the problem. It almost acts like the hydraulic pump suction is starving. Any thoughts or advice appreciated. BTW, this is the only tractor I've ever owned.

OK, I found another thread that showed that what I thought was the oil filter was my hydraulic oil filter. I changed it and all is working good again. Like I said, first tractor. I'm sure I'll need help in the future, so thanks in advance.

I know nothing about Napa 32 fluid and google couldn't find it. If it is a combination hydraulic/transmission fluid it is probably fine. <LINK_TEXT text="http://www.hoyetra...pport/knowledgebase.php?article=1</LINK_TEXT>

You also have a spin on filter, have you changed it?

Have you checked hoses on the suction line from transmission to pump making sure no air leaks?
