hydraulic pump

I recently put some new seals in pump to keep hyd. fluid from leaking into the oil pan. Now the pump does not work, I think it has air in the lines. Any suggestions as how to remve the aiR? I thought about hooking up another tractor on the remotes and forcing the fluid thru the system . This is on a Farmall 300.

Take the breather cap of the reservior and using a rubber tip air gun, blow some air in there to pressurise the system. The pressure in the reservior will push the hydraulic fluid through.

Did you replace the O rings on the pressure and return lines? I recently replaced the O rings on a 350U pump & had the same problem 'til I replaced the 4 O rings on the pressure and return lines.

I put air pressure on the breather tube and it works. Thanks
