In the paper, this guy says he was sold a Farmall Super B Diesal with a TA. He bought it. When he got it home, he found the TA lever (located between rear tire and axle) leads to nowhere, and the BDTA decal is a combinaton of a B decal, an MD decal, and a super MTA decal. That could explain its strange shape. The man never pressed chatges, because the B worked fine.

The hand lever could have been like an M&W hand clutch to give you live power. I`ve seen em on H`s before, don`t know if they made them for B`s though. I`m not an IH expert by any means, but if I saw an ad for a BDTA, I`d do some serious digging and question asking before pursuing that one. I guess you see all kinds... BW

here is a picture of a BMD. british farmall md. they had a direct start diesel, unlike the us built start on gas diesels.

Yup...dad had one...sold it to a man up north somewhere. Good running, pulling tractor. It had a 3 point on it too where the MDs did not.

I forgot to mention there was also gasoline in the tank. That is amazing. Be honest, I mighta fallen for the TA, but I would have atleast investigated the "Diesal" part of the tractor.
