I phone camera problems

This is tractor related because I use my phone camera when working on tractors. My I phone SE, the screen is dark when I try to take a picture, it still takes the picture but I can't see what I'm taking a picture of. Did I bump something by mistake causing this or is my phone dying? Everything else shows up on the screen like it always has. Thanks in advance, Chris
 
Check screen with camera on. May be an icon of the moon. Touch it. It may have went to nite mode. Also flip the camera from front to back. Like you were taking a selfie. If that makes it work you may have phone trouble.

Not sure what happened, went to the camera, didn't see a moon and then realized it was working like it should. You must have fixed it!! Thanks
