Looking at the IB on ebay the seller Has the sn number at 1596 how many IB did they make and what number did they start with thanks

There were about 260 built before they gave them their own #'s. Then they started at IB 1001. The exact total isn't known but it's around 2850 total production. The one on e-bay is a 1950.

Allis-Chalmers model IB tractors built prior to 1946 shared serial numbers with the B farm tractors. Based on the B, the Allis IB industral tractor featured a heavier frame, front axle, and foot throttle. Total built: 2,850
