Need help, ID this tool. What is it used for? TIA

Tht tool is a ruler, used for measuring and also for making straight lines. :lol:
The metal wrench looking thing above the ruler is pretty neat too, but not sure of its use.

Looks like a 12 inch ruler with advertising on it. The other may be a wrench for shaking a stove grate. The notch is for hanging it on a nail.

The metal lookin tool is designed to be used for the purpose that the maker intended for it to be used fur. In other words, "I also donut no vhat et ez either"

It is a valve remover. There should be a 12 inch chain with a cast iron hook to go with it. Farm Collector Field Guide To Mystery Farm Tools. Page 64.
