I'm not sure of the years, but MH 101 and 101 Supers had the flathead six Chrysler industrial engines about the same time as the smooth running 70, The later 101 Senior switched to the Continental F 226 or F 244. Same engine was used in the 44-6 starting in 1947. Most four cylinders run OK, but sixes do run smoother..
MH was 3 years after the 70 came out. I have heard that MH was trying to compete with the Oliver 70 as it was getting such rave reviews?

MH was even later I thought, the 101 six came out 1942-46, MH 44-6 47-53 and Oliver 70 1935-48? The MH six was smoother, but a 44-4 would pull a lot better than the 44-6 did.
