I am in the process of eliminating the TA on my 884. I finally have the disassembly completed, and am ready
to reassemble with
the eliminator coupler instead of the TA. There were no instructions with the coupler, and the eliminator issue is not
addressed in any of the manuals. It is extremely important that I do not have to get into this again. My concern is the
hydraulic system that operates the TA also operates the PTO and power steering. In removing the TA, is some special
accommodation needed to be sure that the other functions of this hydraulic system are not compromised? Should the control spool
be removed from the TA body or left in? If anyone has knowledge of these issues I'd be infinitely grateful for your help!
