was the narrow front end on a ih 966 a fractory option? saw one today that looked too small for that size tractor.
 
yes [t was a opition on the 766-966 and the1066 there was a wide front that came with the tractors that is different than the 56 series or the regular 66 series, i have a 966 and a 1066 with factory narrow fronts, also the high clear models had the narrow front pedistel with the tall front
