IHC 715 combines

Pretty sure it does. I remember swapping one onto uncles has 715. Got a used one off neighbors burned up 715, and I remember it being a diesel.
Man, that was 19 years ago this fall. Uncle, neighbor, and both combines long gone already.
:(

I put a hydraulic pump on a gas 715 25 years ago. I remember it not being a fun job. Or maybe it was the 110 degrees out in the winter wheat field.

Could really use a definitive answer. The pump on the diesel has 2 power exits, 1 for the hydraulic reel drive motor and the other for the rest of the hydraulic functions. The pump on my gas has but one outlet and thus, will not power the hydraulically driven reel. If they'll swap, I'll do it; if not, I'll come up with a different solution.
Thanks,
Curt

The hyd pumps will be the same on serial 23000 down, they were gear driven & mounted on the front cover, the gas C301 & Diesel D301 were same, only variation was hyd reel drive that was a longer or actually 2 pumps in tandem. The later serial 23001 up were all German Diesel D310, no gas engine, belt driven mounted below radiator from crank pulley. Same set-up in the hyd reel option, was again a tandem pump. The 615 had same set-up on early serial.

Thank you. My diesel is a 301 and so is my gas. So if I understand your message, the pump from my 301 diesel will bolt up in place of the pump on my 301 gas?

I looked up the part numbers in IH/CNH parts website, they will fit on early serial 615/715, the single pump on non hyd reel drive, or the tandem pump for hyd reel drive, don't think can mix from one to other on reel drive.
