Really like the old farm equipment. I pick up any, and everything I can. Got plenty of room for it.

Looks like you"re set up very well for cutting corn and oats! I"m 67, 30 something buddy is into old stuff..........helped him bundle oats a few years ago....first time on a binder since late 50s.....we didn"t make bundles at home, but used it as a swather each summer. On the old IH, if you took out the cast iron arm that held the bundle, the grain flowed straight through into a windrow. First round, Dad would make bundles and we"d cut the twine and throw/spread them on the first windrow for the AC 60, then 66, to pick up.

I have a grain binder has all three names stampon back tin Deering,New Ideal, McCormick. New idea hay loader etc etc . horse drawn hay tedder. Big 4 mower clean house i quit collecting this stuff all for sale

You say the stuff is for sale so that brings up the big question of where are you located. Think you probably are too far away but if close would probably have a buyer for the items to use if repairable.

Hmm, you still have the intact globes on all three lightening rods. Have you ever had to replace them?

No, never had to replace any. In fact I have several replacements I've pick up around here. I would like to tighten up the roof sometime though.
