Instrument Panel

On my 1946 ZTN, the Instrument Panel has the usual amps and oil pressure gauges with the light switches. But my tractor has a key switch in lieu of the usual instrument light. Has the key switch been added or was the key switch available from the factory? Also the push button starter switch is in the middle of the panel. Of all the pictures and a few acutal Z"s I have seen, there is no key switch and the starter button is not in the middle of the panel. Has someone revised this setup or could it have been done this way at the factory? Thanks for your help.

I'm pretty sure that the key switch has been added.

On my Z the starter button is on a plate hanging below the guages.
