inter 8-5? auto header

Yesterday's Tractor Forums
The 8-5 was an Australian built header (combine) based loosely on the 403 & 503 US headers. Came with either 16" comb front (header) or 14" open front. Powered by Aussie built 282 petrol motor and then later the Aussie built 310 Neusse diesel.Box held 2 tons of wheat. Reputation as being very reliable easy to maintain header and replaced by even more popular 711 in about 1974.
