I saw someone asking about these tractors some time ago. I have two of they. The one shown gives the before and after effect. The other model which I have needs restoring and is mostly dimantled. I have started on the engine, this was badly stuck and I had to replace the engine liners.Even here in Scotland there are only a few left, many were exported to France etc. They were often used to tow and drive a threshing drum and baler during the late 1950"s 60"s and 1970"s. They had 3 pnt but were probably more commonly used for towing and belt work. The restored model which I have had a specially made belt pulley of about 2 feet in diameter so that the user could reduce engine speed and so save fuel when driving the threshing drum or mill as they were known as here in Scotland. They were also fast on the road with the correct gearing, mine can mange 24/5 MPH. They were replaced by the 614 and eventually 634 model which had basically the same enging but now 281 rather than 264 ci giving even more low down grunt. I have posted these on Tractor Photos also with some additional commentary.
