(quoted from post at 05:37:06 12/21/23) Grandpa love just answered that question on the Farmall and IHC forum. I would follow his advice.
Dave
I found a Dosen's carb for the Super A but not for my Cub.(quoted from post at 06:23:49 12/21/23) I can't send you a link to Amazon without sending you my
personal Info.
However, go to Amazon and search for Dosens carburetor
Go down the page and they have 18 IH carbs in stock.
My cub has the squared of front. I think it is a 66 model with 12 volt generator. But recently changed to alternator. Whats the price on your Zenith carb. Can you send me pictures and prices.(quoted from post at 07:02:35 12/21/23) We have used several Kipa carbs from
Amazon. This is an IH carb clone (We seem
to buy Cubs with missing carbs)They work
perfect straight out of the box. We have
one on our cultivator cub, used it for 3
seasons, zero issues. Carb flooding can
be caused by the smallest piece of grit in
the needle. Is your sediment bowl screen
in good shape? What year is your cub? The
newer cubs used a zenith carb. I have a
couple of those, tested, and ready to
ship.

Start a new post. You will get over looked in an old post. ****. But a '50 cub would have the round hood, not square. Not at all sure where you put an o ring???? We have worked on 60+ cubs, can't figure out where you put that?? What rod is bent? From lever to touch control unit? Air in the system? Remove the fill plug and work the lever back and forth. Moves hard?? Spray a good penetrating oil on all the connections.Im trying to get some information on a center scraper hydraulic lever position lever for a customer of mine. its a 50 with the square front i due believe. i just put a new o-ring on the front of the position lever, but it has now gotten extreamly stiff and i feel that their is air in the system along with the rod being bent?
