Keep the open tractors in the OPEN class. Super antique has rules. Super Antique legal tractors cannot compete when Open class tractors run in our class and dont obey the rules. Time to put a speed limit on it and enforce it. A true 2nd gear tractor at 30 percent over cannot compete with double digit wheel speed an 4000 plus rpm"s. We will not be back until this is fixed.

Amen Brother.pulled a unstyled A in 5500,6500 against a 3010,460,,560 etc.running 10 to 12 mph.I don't see any glory in winning a $3.00 plaque when you have to cheat. Not whining just stating the facts.Still had agood time even though someone stoled a weight and took the side sheild off Old Man Drummonds Ace of Spades and loosened the clamp on the water hose.He still got 4 first & a 2nd.Hope to attend next year.

What Weight Classes where you In ?

Fred Grahler told me he pulled there last year. Seems he said they had a 12 mph speed limit, but they averaged your speed so just had to go slow for a little then nail it. He said he loved it. He pulls a super M. Am I wrong. Vic

I pull a stock b farmall and a all stock f30. People build 8
500 plus ci tractors and call them stock. It is hard to pull and have fun when you do not have a all stock farm class to pull in. You want fare? Do a compression check, if it is not stock it pulls with the bigger tractors!...

This all started 3yrs. Ago. So I dont think they are to concered about changing it. Seems to me if you just put a speed limit on the class that would be the simple salution. Also if you are running in an open class then thats all you should be allowed to run in. No classification jumping.

you can build big motors with whatever compression you want. I don't think it's necessarily fair to toss out tractors that are stock except for higher compression factory parts, such as deeres with the higher comp gas pistons, or m farmalls with the higher comp head (not lp). those were common mods by farmers using them in the field.
