irrigation tires

I recently purchased some 11.2x38 8 ply tires for my Farmall H, and when they came they were marked for "irrigation use only". Tread depth is normal, and load ratings and speed ratings are right for the H. This tractor is semi retired, and will only get occasional light use, mainly going to shows. Does anyone know of any reason I shouldn't go ahead and use them?

I've got 'em on my H and they work like a million bucks. Mine are loaded and at times chained up too.

This might sound dumb but do they mean by irrigation only.

They mean tires for a center pivot, they are often cheaper.

We sold those for years. They are not designed to have a lot of torque applied to them. They are designed to carry weight. We put them on mowing tractors, parade tractors, stuff that was used for light towing etc.

You already have them on and they are paid for, run them until they wear out.
