Is it an E or an E-III

A few post back you can see the belt issue I was having. Turns out that I may have incorrectly ID'd my Gleaner as an E-III. The belt for the E is the correct belt for my head. Soooo, my question is how can you tell an E from an E-III. My grain Hopper has "3" horizontal stripes on it. My serial # is E-24224. The Head is an E-10. Motor is a D-17. This belt mistake cost some money and I don't want to order incorrect parts in the future. HELP
My Gleaner E

I cant get your picture to work but my books says its a 1967 E.
E3's start at serial number 25001 and they look just like a K.
I hope this helps.

If it"s an EIII, it should have a decal on the grain tank that says EIII. Not to be a smart***, but I have one and it has the EIII decals on it.

That's definitely an E. The E-III has a wider cab. I can see from the first picture that you have to reach through the little opening to turn the threshing unit on and the tank unload. On the E-III the controls are all inside the cab.

Not many E-III's around as they were only made one year (1968).

Here is a photo of an EIII from farmphoto.com:
