Is this a scam?

The county in which I live has a GIS property database. Anyone can access that database and get the owners' name and address of any property in the county. With that, more diligent searching can get a phone number, e-mail, what you had for breakfast, etc. Google Maps can even show someone how many vehicles you have, and other things about your property. Very little now-a-days is a complete secret.

That is why I don't mind putting my location in my avatar. That might even help someone nearby, that needs assistance with some equipment, with some in-person help. zuhnc

We've all bought and sold equipment before. And know if someone is serious or a "tire kicker" or a scammer. An interested person will actually call and talk to you about it. A few years ago I bought a tractor from someone who had an ad listed here. I didn't email or text, I actually called and talked to the owner. Example : Hello, I was calling about the Oliver 88 you have for sale. Then asked the normal questions about condition, etc. Then set up a date and time to go look at it, took cash and trailer in case it met my expectations. And brought it home. 👍
