J D spinning out

I have a jd 60 that i pull in the super farm classes 5500- 10000 i have 18.4x38 firestone radials on it and one wheel spins out every time. what can i do to fix this problem?

Do you use a balance-tube to balance the pressure between the rear tires..?
Sounds like one has more pressure..

push harder on the brakes. You should be able to make both tires spin the same.

think about it this way: if your plowing and your left tire is spinning while your right tire is just sitting there, all you have to do is push the right brake

Try a little more weight to the side that is spining out first.

i have unstled john deere a it has mitched tires on it 13.6 13.9 ipull 4000 to 55oo no weight out front mostly on back use brakes to gether acts like a postive track workes real good last pull i got 2 firest place and 1 second takes practice

I bet when you try this you will use the other right brake or the one on the north side. -)

what side spins first? This may sound crazy but, I pull a 630, and when I put my weights on the belly bar If I have an odd amount left, I put the extra on the clutch side, because you got that big flywheel on the other side...it works for me. good luck

AN old man that worked on john deeres told me one day at a pull that all them older 2cyl, tractors will spin the clutch side first because theres 10 percent more power on that side?.When i asked why he said it is because of the way the gears are in them.

first off make sure they are equall spacing from center of tractor did you put these tires on if not they might have been loaded at one time and there might be some fluid left in one tire not much maybe a gollon or so so many possibilitys my jd a both wheels spin together depending on track and the groove i take one might spin first but it differs depending on track conditions never the same tire

You have to take in to account the rotation of the Earth, In what direction are you pulling? North,South is more sensitive to this than East or West Then there is the Moon pull effect, similar to the ocean tides. Start by weighing one rear tire and compare that to the other rear tire weight, my jd is 80 pounds heavier on one side.

Let's see if I got this right. The right tire is not spinning so I want to push that brake, meaning the right side,is that right? I'll never get this right. Or is that left? Who's on first? The north side? What if I'm going south? Or was I GOING south?

This is too complicated.

Old wives tale.
The two cylinder don't suffer the unloading of the right tire because the engine lays east west instead of north south.
