Mr Howell could you send an diagram of the electrical system for the M John Deere.Seem to not getting any power through the switch. Tractor runs well by hot wire. Would you know what is the smallest alternator practical for this small tractor Thank you so much. Bill Wilson Tell Nancy according to my last trip through all seems well in Gosport lol. There is an inline fuse above and behind the battery. I would start there.

If James doesn't come along shortly I have all the two cylinder electrical diagrams posted on the johnnypopper site.

I have had a similar problem on both my M and MI, if the inline fuse doesn't fix the problem you may have to replace the switch, I did.
