JD 300 picker

I have a 300 husker that somehow ended up with most of the paddles on the elevator that take the corn to the wagon bent back. I have tried to bend them back with a long cresent wrench but I have concern for the damage I might do to the floor of the evevator. I was hoping to avoid taking the chain out, anyone have any suggestions?

heat - but first use a leaf blower to remove flammable material, and keep a water hose handy.

Slip a steel plate or a 2x6 under the area you are working on to protect the floor

They aren't that bad to pull out,put it on the floor and and hammer them out on the anvil, it will work out better for you,,,then try to see what bent them up so it won't happen again...
