when draining the transmission fluid I found a bush or a roller approx. 25mm o.d., 12mm i.d. and 15mm wide. Does anybody have any idea where it might have come from.

As the old saying goes: a photo is worth a 1000 words. I can't think of a bush in a 3020 trans.
Update: there are 4 rollers on the shifters in a Syncro-range trans. JDparts doesn't list the spec's of these rollers

just a SWAG but, is it magnetic? Maybe to catch broken parts to keep them from catching up in gears??

Do the lift arms work? Without trying to figure out how big the thing is (I don't do metric), it sounds like the cam follower.

so approx 1"od x 1/2" id x 5/8" wide
