JD 4230 Stalls in High Side Gears - quadrange

Have a 1972 JD 4230 with the Quadrange transmission. When swathing in B2 last week it all of a sudden started bogging down after making a turn. Would have died if I hadn't hit the clutch. Now, runs just fine
in low side (First, Third) in any of the range gears (A,B,C,D) but if you try starting in 2nd or 4th in any range, it won't move and bogs the engine down like something is locked up.

Have seen a lot of posts about old 30-series having issues with a weak tube/clamp on the two speed assembly... dad has owned this one since 1978, and we've never done the upgrade to a newer tube/clamp, but
questioning if that is the problem in this case since it seems to be shifting from low to high, but high just isn't there, or is locked up.

Thanks for any help!

I saw one spit one of the planet gears out and from being out of balance it seized the planet carrier to the housing.

You can pop the clutch valve housing out and see whats going on in there if youre inclined to.
