Hello to all,
My tractor is a 1960 finished build on Dec. 30, 1959, warehoused on Jan. 8, 1960, went to California and was sold at Lawrence Tractor in Visalia. In regards to the Touch-O-Magic controls, was there ever a supplementary bulletin or any additional information that went out with these models with the two sticks describing in nature the purpose of the inside stick versus the touch control as explained in Operator’s Manual OM-T77-359 for the single stick Touch-O-Matic. I really do not know the purpose of the stick nearest the operator. I leave it forward and never do move it. I have only ever seen one other in a picture online. It is all OEM parts but the M1820T quadrant casting has the two M2101T segments which is different than shown in the operators manual. Mine does have the remote hydraulics but it has no effect to that equipment. Here is a picture and maybe we can get some input here. Even the parts catalog shows no parts for this addition. Of course, I have found other parts too that were not listed. The operators manuals were printed in the 1959 year as we can see all pictures have the early oil filter housing and the early governor cover. There is one picture of the two segment quadrant casting on page 6 but it only has one segment and one stick. If it can be explained, any information will be welcomed. Thanks to the Forum, Jess
