I have a 4620 that was running/starting fine. I put it in park. Dropped my rotary cutter, got back on the tractor and now it wont turn over. When I turn the key on the 2 small orange dash lights dont even come on. Its all the way in park and I checked the fuse it has a new starter. HELP what else can it be?

Since not even the dashboard indicator lights are coming on, check ALL the battery cable connections, and clean or repair as needed.

Use a test light or meter, and see if there's power at the large stud on the starter solenoid.

ALL electrical loads are fed from there.

Do the headlights work?

Like Bob said, it's time to get out the old test light or voltmeter. I beleive a 4620 has a main circut breaker and a starter relay just above and to the rear of the starter. Check for battery voltage at those components. Check for battery voltage at the alternator's "B" terminal. I worked on a 4320 not too long ago with a very similar problem, the harness rubbed thru where it runs behind the engine block, causing the heavy wire between alternator and main breaker to burn up. Also double check your battery cables very carefully. Wiggle around where each cable is crimped into the terminals on each end while someone watches for the dash lights to come on. Had a combine this week that acted very much like dead batteries, in the end it turned out to be that the terminal on the engine block end of the ground cable was loose, was discovered by wiggling on cable, and problem was only visible after cutting off the heat shrink wrap over the terminal.
