JD 468 round baler problem

I baled several bales with no problem. Yesterday the baler would not wrap automatically. I have to press net wrap to get the baler to wrap. What is the problem?

Had same problem, my problem was with in the moniter. Service tech had to correct code works fine now.

Have you checked the section in operators manual called "diagnosing malfunctions"?

What holds the netting on the bale? I've used string wrapped balers,but never been around net wrapped and how many wraps does it make?

Netwrap is similar to a women's hair net. It clings to itself. JD recommends 2 wraps for grass hay. More wraps for oat/wheat hay.

I set my monitor to use two wraps per bale. The net wrap material clings to the bale securely. Roy

Thanks Jim for your response. Yes I have checked the manual but I am unable to find a cure.When the monitor is counting a o8 appears on the screen intermittedly with the count. I don't know what that means. Roy

Switch monitor to channel 15 and check tractor voltage with engine running. Low voltage can cause strange things to happen.

I am still trying to diagnose my problem with my 468 baler. Instead of o8, I beleve it is n8 which may refer to the number of the wire that is malfunctioning. Does this make sense? Roy

Did you check voltage on monitor?? I don't have a 468 but a 467 and any error codes show up on the screen not the bale counter area.
