JD 60 decal battery box

[farmall ray]

What is the correct decal that goes on the front of the battery box?
As always thanks

This is from the "Virgin 60", which is factory original down to the air in the tires.

You can get the correct decal that Frank has referred too from Travis Jorde ph.# 507-288-5483

Does your 60 have the decals that show the patent numbers?

I remember one located near the Power Trol and one up front on the left hand side.

Travis said he could make them but mine where in such poor condition I couldn't give him a good picture/dimensions to make one.

What year ?? Thanks

Fellas, this is not my '60', but one that is often shown at Expos. Read the linked thread. It's on original '60' that got delivered, there was some dispute, and the tractor, complete with shipping labels and wired on remote cylinder, sits as it cam off of the truck in the early 50's, sort of a time capsule of a JD numbered series tractor.

Yeah but--What year?? My '53 has the red gas cap closer to the steering wheel.

It has a pre-cleaner. Was it destined for a western state? Jim

FIT, do you have anymore pictures of the "virgin 60?" I would love to see them all. If you wouldn't mind, my email is [email protected]. I would love to see them. Thanks

I only have a few photos, maybe 5, and nothing that tells the serial number or year. I think I have a lot of other pics, but they were probably burned to a CD that I cannot lay my hands on right now. If I get a chance, I'll link them to this post later, but give me a day as I have some other things to attend to after just getting off the plane.

Hey bud, I have a few pics of the patent numbers from my 60 that I took before I restored it, In hopes that I too could find someone that made a decal, If you want me to send them to you let me know, I did post the pics on here sometime ago but never heard from anyone, maybe we could get a deal if a couple of us ordered them to be made from Travis,
