JD 60 Decals placement??

Jd 60 what is the measurment for placement of the decals, on the hood and side panels?? All measurements would be appreciated.

Not sure if these measurements are valid for a 60, but for my 50 the hood side decals start 6 inches back from the break line between the hood and the grill.

Placement of numbers on the grill sides is a bit different, but I found factory specs for my 50 in the Two Cylinder magazine issue that featured the 50 many years ago. Those dimensions MIGHT work for a 60.

It should help to look at some photos of tractors that are "original" in old sales literature.

Along that line, I"ve seen model 80 diesels that owners have sworn are original paint and the side number decals are no where near consistent from tractor to tractor. So who knows what"s correct if anything really is!!!
