JD 60 head

Anyone ever put bigger valves in a JD head. Could you put G valves in a 60 head?

Still limited by those massive cyclone eyebrows that shroud half the intake valve.
You can take a valve insert seat cutter and remove some of the eyebrow down to the top of the existing valve seat.
The eyebrows can be ground down to follow the slope of the combustion chamber. A straight cut will strike water.
I have images of a cut away 60 head on my phone camera but I'm too cheap to pay a couple of bucks each to e-mail them to myself. Can't find the phone to computer patch cord after the kids were fooling with it.
The ports need to be matched to manifolds, valve bowls smoothed and blended. And a really fussy multi angle valve seat done by a pro in a racing machine shop.

Put intakes in exhaust side and put 70 diesel intake valves back in the intake port.

i just got my a head back yesterday from a race shop they multi angled the valves and port and polished what are you meaning by smoothing the bowl?

All down the length of the port and around the valve guide/bowl area up to the seat.
Get rid of the casting flash, large lumps, machined edges,ledges, notches etc.
